It's now October and as most people know it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. While we are a small family owned business, we would like to contribute to battling breast cancer. Our fundraiser is titled BOMBS FOR BOOBIES and will be through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) here: Dilly Cakes's fundraising page for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (bcrf.org)
How will we raise money? Since we make cocoa bombs during the fall and winter, we created special cocoa bombs available in dark or milk chocolate. They feature a pink ribbon and will only be available this October. 20% of profits from these special edition bombs will be donated to our BCRF fundraiser.
Why are we doing this? Like many others, we have family members who have suffered and battled through breast cancer. Joanna's mother, Marty Bennett is a breast cancer survivor. Diagnosed in 2017, she fought through illness for about a year and continues to live a cancer free life in West Texas. We are thankful for the treatments available to Marty in helping her survive. We would like to use our small business to make a contribution to research and improve care, treatment, and hopefully someday, a care.
We want to hear from you!
